Why Contribute to Deeds of Love?
Because you want to express your faith and love through acts of compassion. This is the most important reason of all. Reaching out and helping our fellow brothers and sisters in need is the most profound expression of our love.
Because 100% of your contribution is invested in Deed Projects. The founding family and core volunteers of Deeds of Love bear all the administrative costs. Any funds collected in excess of what is required to satisfy the Deed Project are invested in the next project undertaken. Every penny collected is given to those in need!
Because you’ll know up front where your contribution will go and how it will be spent. As a matter of policy, Deeds of Love will always provide to the Friends a Deed Project Proposal highlighting who the beneficiary will be, the purpose of the project and how much money is required for the Deed Project. You are provided with all the facts up front!
Because you will be provided with timely feedback. Once a project is completed, a Deed Project Summary is sent to all the Friends. This Deed Project Summary may include pictures, letters from the beneficiaries, and full disclosure of funds collected and how they where used. You will see the fruit of your contribution!
Because your contribution is 100% tax deductible. Deeds of Love is recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt charitable organization under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, you can deduct your contributions on your income taxes!
