Take my life, that I may be

Consecrated, Lord, to thee;

Take my moments and my days;

Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands and let them move

At the impulse of thy love;

Take my feet and let them be

Swift and beautiful for thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing

Always, only, for my King;

Take my lips and let them be

Filled with messages from thee.

Take my silver and my gold,

Not a mite would I withhold;

Take my intellect, and use

Every power as thou shalt choose.

Take my will and make it thine;

It shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is thine own;

It shall be thy royal throne.

Take my love; my Lord, I pour

At thy feet its treasure store;

Take myself, and I will be

Ever, only, all for thee.

Deeds of Love

Lord help me do a loving deed today
Doors of opportunity may not always open stay.
Lord lead me where you would have me go.
Help me some deed of love to show.
Make my life a light for Thee.
To shine in wordly darkness for others to see.
Take my mind, my hands, my heart,
that deeds of loving kindness they may impart.
While in this world of sin I stay
Give me guidance day by day.
Lead me in love, some kind deed to see
That it might be a service for Thee.
And when my time is finished below,
That where Jesus is, ther may I go.

Sermon's We See

I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day.
I’d rather one would stop walk with me -- than

merely show me the way.
The eye’s better pupil -- more willing than the ear,
Fine counsel is confusing, but examples always clear.
And the best of all the people are the ones who lived their creed,
For to see the good in action is what everyone needs,
I can soon learn how to do it if you’ll let me see it done,
I can watch your hands in action,

but your tongue too fast may run.
The lectures you deliver may be very wise and true --
But I’d rather get my lesson by observing what you do.
For I may misunderstand you, and the high advise you give,
But there’s no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.
